Only Surviving Album



This is the story of a Hungarian Jewish woman who survived Auschwitz and found a coat belonging


to a guard which she took to shield her from the cold immediately after her liberation. In the pocket


of this coat she found a photo album. It contained pictures of what went on in this extermination camp.


Imagine her reaction when she saw a picture of herself coming off of the train as well pictures of her


family who were already murdered. This album at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem was donated by this


woman in 1980 and will forever be displayed there. When you have 5 minutes of peace and quiet in


front of your computer, watch it and consider passing it around to people that you know so they can


share it and know about it. It is truly moving and important.

Seul survivant Album


C'est l'histoire d'une femme juive hongroise qui a survécu à Auschwitz et a trouvé un manteau appartenant


à un agent dont elle a pris à son bouclier contre le froid immédiatement après sa libération. Dans la poche


de ce manteau, elle a trouvé un album photo. Il contenait des photos de ce qui se passait dans ce camp d'extermination.


Imaginez sa réaction quand elle a vu une image d'elle-même se détacher du train ainsi des photos d'elle


famille qui ont déjà été assassinés. Cet album à Yad Vashem à Jérusalem a été donné par la présente


femme en 1980 et sera toujours affiché. Lorsque vous avez 5 minutes de la paix et la tranquillité dans


devant votre ordinateur, il montre et considèrent qu'il passait autour de gens que vous connaissez pour qu'ils puissent partager et de savoir à ce sujet. Il est vraiment émouvant et important.
